JUMO pH insertion electrode in stainless steel

The pH value is of central importance in food production and quality monitoring of meat. Insertion electrodes are used, for example, when measuring pH in meat and dairy products. These sensors are generally provided with a plastic stem. JUMO GmbH & Co. KG, Fulda, Germany, has added a model featuring stainless steel armoring in material 1.4571 to the range of insertion electrodes.

These electrodes meet all hygienic requirements and offer the advantage of being easy to clean. Furthermore, the use of stainless steel ensures enhanced mechanical stability of the electrode. This, in turn, enables safe and reliable measurement of the pH. The electrode is equipped with an attached-cable connection. BNC or DIN connectors are used as instrument connectors. Other connector types are available on request. The membrane glass used permits measurements in the range 0 – 12 pH, briefly also up to 14 pH.
JUMO offers the user a wide variety of pH electrodes in customized styles. Further information about our range of electrodes can be found at www.jumo.net.
