The time has come! The security industry has entered its latest product innovations for the GIT SICHERHEIT AWARD 2009. All providers are naturally hoping to win the prize for their product and solution.

„Extended internationally for the first time“

As in previous years, the nomination for this final round was in many cases a close-run and tremendously difficult decision, with much discussion and debate between panel members. „This year we have added workplace safety and management of hazardous substances as an award category, and extended the competition internationally for the first time. Making one decision on a product to be presented to readers for final round selection from the rafts of entries was hard work for the panel and often there was very little to separate entries“ says Dr. Heiko Baumgartner from the GIT SICHERHEIT + MANAGEMENT and GIT SECURITY + MANAGEMENT team, however the representatives from associations BHE, VDMA, TÃœV Hessen, BGIA and ZVEI, and from GIT VERLAG, had to reach a decision.

Your votes will now decide which of the nominated companies and products will win places one to three in the five categories. The categories are as follows:

A - Safe automation
B - Fire safety
C - CCTV
D - Locking and access
E - Workplace safety and management of hazardous substances
